Shrewsbury is located in St. Louis County, Missouri, and according to the 2010 census the population was 6,254. The city is made up of 1.43 square miles of total area, all of which consists of land, and it is surrounded by St. Louis to the east, Affton to the south, Marlborough to the west, and Webster Groves to the north. This city is known for having four distinct seasons with spring being the wettest season. Summers are typically hot and humid.
There are a variety of attractions located in the Shrewsbury region that may be of interest to visitors and residents. The Opera Theatre of Saint Louis and the Repertory Theatre of Saint Louis are both located in this area. Shopping also used to be available at the Kenrick Plaza, but redevelopment bids have approached the city with a bid to turn this site into a Wal-Mart.
